“Outreach efforts began engaging with individuals the last week of November and will continue through January, likely ending the first couple of weeks in February; we have no intention to impact the upcoming Point in Time Count on January 30th .
It’s unlikely efforts are visible, as the team wears regular clothes identified only by their ID lanyards and typically drive their personal vehicle unless client transportation is scheduled.
Current feedback indicates there is a much smaller number of individuals experiencing homelessness in this area than anticipated; feedback indicates most using the area are housed and as a social location.
